While fintech has made many financial services more accessible, robo-advisors still struggle to see into the numbers and produce actionable insights.
Our mission is to create a space where deep commercial accounting experience can coexist with cutting-edge fintech tools to provide high quality advice to clients regardless of size or geography.
We already do this daily, serving a national client base ranging from startups and sole traders to established businesses and high-net-worth individuals with complex advisory needs.
About Boss Intelligence
Boss Intelligence is a boutique accounting firm headquartered in the heart of Port Stephens’ coastal jewel, Salamander Bay, a short drive north of Sydney.
After operating in many forms for decades, we’ve recently taken the digital tools we developed in-house and turned them into a formal service offering. We named it Boss Intelligence.

The Story
Boss Intelligence’s founder, John Colley, spent most of his career in practice in Sydney. He started in rural NSW, giving him unique insight into the needs of both city and regional entrepreneurs.
John was an early adopter of accounting technology, leaving a mountain of tired and broken computers in his wake. He was evangelising for increased use of tech in accounting long before cloud accounting existed.
In part, he did this through industry advocacy — 13 years as an industry representative on CPA Australia’s public practice committee (two of which he served as chairman).
John has also sat on liaison committees for the corporate regulator, ASIC, and represented practitioners during the formative years of today’s peak industry bodies.
